What Are RSS Feeds?
RSS stands for Rich Site Summary or Really Simple Syndication depending upon who you ask. RSS is a format for delivering web content that changes on a regular basis. News-related sites, weblogs and other online publishers syndicate their content as an RSS feed to enable subscribers easier and quicker access to their articles. Firefox, Google, and Yahoo each have functions set up so the reader can easily access their RSS feeds without the use of an outside news aggregator.

If your web site contains information that changes regularly, creating an RSS feed could be beneficial to you and your visitors as well. Feeds are fairly simple to create and update. Additionally, there are several websites that offer RSS creation software for a reasonable price.
